Y’all I highly recommend Life’s 2 short with Captain Alex short,  friendly , funny, fun, social just All around Amazing!! If this is your first ,or 2nd time or 100th time you looking to have a fun relaxing life filled experience Alex .. Life’s 2 Short is exactly that. A captain that can connect with your kids or teens to and help guide them to where you end up having a long conversation after it all and that was the one thing that made you sad to leave here definitely is hands down the best. Check him out , you will be Glad you did. Alex I cannot thank you enough for a life time experience. The Boys Levi, Christian had a blast , we all did. Thank you again!! We booked this charter for my family (husband 15yr old and 11yr old and me) we had never been on a boat in the ocean, never fished in salt water, and my daughter and I have Zero experience fishing at all. I was Worried our lack of experience would be detrimental to the trip but Captain Alex was amazing. We did 4 hours. And if/when we do it again I would Pick 6 hrs. We caught 11 fish and had 3 sharks on the line, they keep biting through the line. Amazing experience my son (11yr) was able to catch a huge king Mackerel and it was the highlight of his life! Alex was knowledgeable about all marine life and explain exactly why and how of everything that we were dojng. Amazing. Great with kids, fun to talk to when you’re waiting for a bite! Highly recommend.

Trolling for mackerel out in the bay. Of course you have time to talk about things in between catching fish. Alex is an Auburn grad who represents the typical southern guy. Polite, family oriented, and likes to fish. You can pay for the big boats and fish the same areas OR you can choose to support the smaller businesses and still catch the same fish. Slip is literally the first fishing boat closing to parking. Next time I choose to fish in Destin, I’ll look up Alex and life is 2 short.

Captain Alex was amazing! This was by far the best fishing charter that I have ever taken- He worked hard to find us fish and when we found them we caught a boat load! Alex recommended taking our catch to East Pass on the harbor. The chef prepared our catch and served it family style with delicious sides. It was the best meal that we have had in Destin. Such a great experience!! I highly recommend this charter!

In today’s society people are very selfish and only want results. In this pursuit they don’t care if people have morals and values as long as they get what they want. Captain Alex was a respectful, kind, and courteous. No foul language, no alcohol, just a fine young man taking us on an adventure. We did not catch many fish, a King Mackerel, a couple red snappers, a couple trigger fish, and rose lips, Oh, and a couple of really large pin fish. Nature was against us. We had had tide going one way, winds going another and very choppy seas. Also, trigger fish were every where eating our baits before we could get where they needed to go. But because of Capt. Alex’s respect and patience, it was a very fun trip none the less.
