After we spoke moments ago about your inshore trip with capt Kyle I felt like we have to touch on your review. For readers this is the same exact “marina” dock which is a local dock that holds red fish, black drum, sheepshead and more this time of year that you guys fished today with Kyle. We did move your date from Sunday to today due to we were trying to give you the best weather day possible. Sunday was 27-30 knot winds, 50 degrees and the water temp was 53. For those not local to the area those are horrible fishing conditions. We do fish 300 times a year if not more and would love for each and every charter to be fantastic sometimes it just doesn’t happen unfortunately. As for the tide, we did have a high tide which gives us unlimited spots to fish. Lastly, as we chatted I prefer to jam to Bob Marley. Our fish in this area are simply use to boat traffic, commotion, etc. The music portion had zero reflection on the day. I stand by capt Kyle as for he grew up on Anna Maria and has been fishing his entire life and fishes on the professional red fish circuit. Once again, bummer the fish did not cooperate for you today although i am glad you were able to take some fish home! Happy new year and thank you again for choosing UFA!

Michael, I guess what I can say is life happens. We run 320 trips a year and things are bound to happen. Apologize it happened on your trip but atleast the main objective of catching fish was satisfied!  Unfortunately the primer ball dry rotted due to Florida heat and saltwater, $15 dollar fix and we were good to go. Hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation!

The captain you are referring to “Kyle” for anyone reading this please go and read the hundreds of reviews about this particular captain.

1- You went home with grouper, snapper and a cobia had an absolutely great fishing day in my book.
2-We came in 7 minutes early due to we had sooo much fish to fillet.
3- I find it hilarious that you still believe the fish will eat the bait. That’s like an alien catching you putting you on their space ship and then sitting you next to key lime pie. Chances are you are wayyy to scared and uneasy to eat. Same context here.
4- yes our shirts are $35 dollars. If you didn’t appreciate and want the free shirt please bring it back. I’d rather give it to another customer that will appreciate it!
5- We tell all of our customers to double check for bones. Even your husband said cool understood.
6- We ran out of bait for your trip because you caught fish for 3hrs and 52 minutes. Over 75 fish were caught.

What really puts the cherry on top is trying to manipulate people with your cancer that you have. That’s what really does it for me. My mom has non Hodgkens lymphoma and was diagnosed 3 years ago. So I get it.  I explained this to you during our hour long conversation. Before you even booked. It’s sad that you have that much negativity towards a trip that was a vacation. And yes, I did ask you to book elsewhere because clearly your expectations are unreachable. For others, we catch fish, we try hard, and we are a top tier company with 97% repeat clients for over 10 years. Have a good day!
