We where the first trip 5 days after Dorian. I Have Chartered over 25 Fishing boats and never had a problem with catching Quality Fish. We went out at least 25 miles and the Big fish was a 2.5 lb Triggerfish. 2nd largest was 2lb Seabass. Could have been the time of the year (10 Sept.). Boat was Good, some of the reels where older. The Mate (Kelly) and the Captain where very helpful. Will Not Be Returning.

Couldn’t get on anything trolling, so moved to bottom fishing.  Used frozen sardines and squid for bait.  Lots of active undersized sea bass.  Didn’t have time to try for some sharks as we had hoped.  Stayed busy and he kept us moving to try and stay on the fish, unfortunately memorable bites were not to be had.

1st thing on dock another charter fisherman gave our group the wrong directions - are captain said rivalry between the two of them and laughed it off as a joke . Not the frustrating situation that it was that made us a couple minutes late - Then No fish caught-waves way to ruff-all 7pp got sick. This is after we had pushed it back a full month due to weather on original date this was supposed to be a birthday present for my husband who loves fishing and he said he hopes I never repeat this gift-Nobody had fun -caught anything. And instead of just coming back closer to the shore or trying to find calmer water it was all just like -oh well. Due to his love of fishing I will repeat this gift just with a different crew hopefully with someone who understands when the water is too rough to fish take guest someplace calmer even if it means coming closer to shore - The whole point of this is to catch fish ??
