- My business is named after an island off the coast of Louisiana, that my father and I fished for over 20 years. I can talk for hours about hiking the North Georgia Mountains to fish a stream small enough to jump across, to catch 6-inch native Brook Trout, or catching 100 LB Ahi off Hawaii. It's all just as exciting to me. For the last 14 years, I've been fishing the Sarasota Bay and Gulf, learning all that the west coast of Florida has to offer. Sarasota has endless opportunities for fishing and some of the best and nicest guides I've ever known. There's nothing better than the smile on someone's face when they catch their first fish. Taking people fishing isn't a job; it's the best day ever.
- Techniques
- I love fishing the deep reefs, there's always a surprise fish that you didn't expect. I grew up fishing the Louisiana marsh and Gulf and have fly fished many of the blue-ribbon trout streams in the US, I would be happy fishing for bream with a cane pole and crickets. I don't really have a favorite style; I like it all.
