2 foot seas gusting to 20 made it an exciting day of fishing. We managed a couple different species for dinner and had a great day of fishing. We released more than 20 grunts, 4 big Gag grouper, a couple red grouper and many other small reef species. Its a great time to fish south florida. The cooler temps will not be around forever. I had a great day with my favorite fishing couple last week, we hit the reef for some solid sheepshead action. we caught a bunch from 17 inches to one 21 inch old lady. we kept a couple for dinner and released the rest to finish laying eggs and start the next generation. we also found a bunch of big grunts, gag grouper, red grouper and some snappers that kept the action going all morning.
