Capt Mike had been in contact with me the few days before our trip to discuss optimal time to go out. We ended up going out in the morning. Both the capt and Wally the mate were very knowledgeable and helpful.  We caught 3 cobia - 44 in, 51in, and 54 in. We had to throw back the 51 in fish. The 3rd fish was caught on the way back in. I will definitely go out with them if I’m in the area again.

Today was my first sport fishing trip ever. Thought we’d do a half day to ease into it. Mike was thorough and well equipped. Cobia are in season in the Chesapeake Bay, so we headed out to get some. They were reluctant to play at first, so we trolled for mackerel and secured 4 little beauts. Finally spotted some Cobia and Mike and his mate helped us secure a cool 52”-er. My girlfriend and I took an 8 hour trip to catch some cobia and whatever else was biting. We had a great time and Mike and his mate Wally were extremely entertaining and made the trip a lot of fun! We had a great time with Captain Mike and Wally! We thought we were going to be unlucky since our trip was for four hours and we didn’t catch any fish. However, Captain Mike was very nice and kept us out longer without charging extra and he was able to snag a huge Cobia for us. Thank you so much and we will use his services again!
