Since moving to the East Coast in 1993, I have been avidly fishing the Atlantic Ocean and its estuaries every chance I get. The Chesapeake Bay provides amazing opportunities for saltwater fishing enthusiasts like me!
Techniques: My primary interest is light tackle sport fishing. I enjoy making custom tackle targeted for specific species. The hunt for larger fish with sight-fishing is a favorite, but I also enjoy trolling and bottom fishing. My most rewarding fishing comes when I can help another angler learn new techniques and find great fish.

I booked this charter mostly to learn about fishing the Bay. I told Mike that was what I wanted, and I learned far more than I expected and caught my limit in Spanish mackerel and spade fish, plus several that were too small to keep. I also caught several blue fish and they are a very exciting fish to catch. Mike’s knowledge is unparalleled, and he is an excellent teacher. This trip far exceeded my expectations in every way.
