Capt Jacob was awesome.  He had us on fish and with our limit before we knew it.  Super helpful with baiting the hook and netting and removing fish.  All we had to do was cast and catch.  He even helped one of our group with tips to cast more accurately.  I’m planning another charter in a couple months and will be coming back to Bayou Bandits.

Captain Jacob made my family’s day truly enjoyable! He treated us like family and we welcomed him to our family! We were also fortunate enough to catch some fish along the way! We will ALL definitely be back for more trips and bring other family members and friends as well!

Water was cold, but capt put us on reddish.  We moved when there were no bites, and had a great day on the water.  We will be back.  Rich

Started out slow, but the captain never gave up and finally found fish.  Caught a variety of fish

We had a tough start to our day, but thanks to Captain Jacob’s perseverance, we ended up with a great catch of 15 redfish and a drum, not to mention about 40 catfish. The morning started slow, but the Captain would motor miles to one spot, fish a couple of stops in that area, then motor to another spot at least a mile away. We fished each stop for 5-10 minutes, and if no fish, we moved. I believe on our fifth stop we really got into the reds, and at each stop in that area, we caught fish. If the Captain hadn’t worked so hard to find fish, it would have been a poor day. But because he kept moving till we found fish, it turned out to be a great day.

The Captain was a man of few words, but he was happy to answer any questions we had, and we had plenty. He was focused on catching fish, and when we started catching, he talked a lot more. He’s a very dedicated fisherman, who knows the area well and will put you on fish.
