We took a 6 hr AM trip with Capt. We booked a two hour fishing adventure with Captain Rio while we were visiting Marco Island.  Our 5 year old is obsessed with fishing and I told him if he could catch a shark he would blow his mind.  He delievered with my son reeling in a baby bonnethead shark and my son has been telling anyone who will listen about his exciting catch.  We also caught pufferfish, catfish and a ladyfish.  Captian Rio was patient with the kids and adults :) and very helpful in baiting our hooks and taking the... We booked our trip months out. A few days before Capt Rio reached out advising the weather was not looking great for the day we planned.  He gave us options for another date. The weather was perfect that day.  Capt. Rio was awesome with the kids, my wife, and I. Very knowledgeable when and where the fish would be. Very personable and funny. We had a great time. Especially seeing the dolphins play.  We could not have asked for a better experience. Capt. Rio is the perfect Captain.

Capt. Rio was an incredible Captain and Host. Put on fish and had a smile on his face and a colorful story at every fishing hole. Caught Snook, Snapper, Redfish and hooked a Goliath Grouper. He knows the water and the species and I would recommend a 6 hour trip as 4 was just not long enough. We will be back.

We enjoyed our Trip with captain Rio. As non- fisher people he taught Us how to bait a hook, cast and fish.  Extremely patient with my teenagers on what to do after you catch and why.  We caught a bunch of different types of fish but the winner was mama caught a shark.  Kids are never Living that Down. If you are staying in Marco definitely consider a trip with captain rio.
