SW Florida is known for its wide variety of fish, and this trip didn’t disappoint. we booked with Six Chuters for a 4-hour nearshore trip in late December 2025. Captain Sam was excellent for a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We are fairly experienced and he kept us engaged and nailing fish at the wrecks. Mackerel, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Grouper, grunt, sea perch, barracuda. we wpuld absolutely go again.

We fished with capt. Billy for the second year in a row.  Like last year, he put us on the fish, and we all had a great time catching sheepshead, ladyfish, and a pompano, along with a bunch of small mangrove snappers.  We had plenty of fish for a great fresh fish dinner!

We had an incredible day on the water with Pedro from Six Chuter Charters! He made sure that everyone in our party had a good time and focused on our out of town guest and our 12 year old grandson, which was exactly what I had hoped for!

Captain Kyle is fun for the whole family! He was highly knowledgeable but low key about it, and may or may not have given our dad credit for catching a bonnet shark while we were off shelling a sandbar. We also (legitimately) caught a blowfish, sheepshead fish, ladyfish and speckled trout. Dolphins celebrated in the channel around our boat, and they were a delight. We did not expect to have such a productive and laugh-filled excursion with a stranger, but with Captain Kyle all things are possible.... More
