My daughter and I recently took our second charter trip with Captain Jim. Like our first trip in March 2022, this one on New Year’s Day 2025 was amazing!

This New Year’s Day Captain Jim took us on a 6 hour cruise around Cape Coral, Sanibel and Ft. Myers Beach. He knows the area well and all the right places to go. We had a steady day of fishing, watching dolphins chase the boat, sunsets, and beautiful scenery everywhere. Got lots of great pictures, and even better memories.

In March 2022, we had a longer 8 hour day cruise that ended with a beautiful sunset. That trip, we had a long eventful day on the water. Lots of great fishing, a stop at the beach to walk around, more fishing, and dinner at the Cabbage Key Restaurant. While there, we saw manatees up close at the dock. Talk about majestic creatures!

Overall, both trips were incredible and filled with many firsts for us - from different species fish caught, to getting up close to marine life only before seen in pictures. Oh, and the sunsets…absolutely beautiful on both trips.

All experiences like these MUST be seen and felt in person. I highly recommend you book a charter with Captain Jim and get out there on the water. You will not be disappointed!

The fishing started slow but Captain Roddy did not give up!  He kept trying different places until we started to catch trout and Lady fish and then my grandson caught a shark!  Captain Roddy made sure that we made wonderful memories!

Not with this Captain, I would call it catching. One of the most hardworking successful fisherman I’ve fished with..7 different species of Southwest Florida Fish. would highly recommend a trip with him!

Our Captain was knowledgeable, delivered a memorable experience, and had the best personality. Highly recommend! We will forever use Captain Roddy for our fishing trips.

Always such a wonderful time going out fishing with Captain Jim. He finds the best spots and gets us hooked! Hooked on all the fishies, that is.
