- Background
- I grew up in this area and started to fish at an early age (7 years old). I quickly developed a passion for fishing and being out on the waters. I owned 2 boats before I was 15. I have lived in Whistler for 20 years, missed the ocean, which lead me to sell my printing shop, bought our 28' Harbourcraft Kingfisher, my wife had the fishing fever also and the rest is history.
- Techniques
- We mostly salmon fish by trolling with downrigger to get down deep to find the large ones, but jigging is also a very fun way to catch salmon. We also jig, drift and spin cast for bottom fish (Lingcod, Rock Cod, Flounders and the occasional Halibut)
