  Great Fathers Day

  My kids and I have a tradition every Father’s Day to go fishing for a few hours in the morning. Only gift I ever ask for, is that whoever is around comes with me. Well, one of my sons lives here in FL and hasn’t been able to be with us the last couple of years. He and I got the opportunity today to carry on the tradition with Captain Brett! We caught a ton of fish! So many different types, Peacock Bass, Gar, Largemouth Bass, Mayans, Oscars, and a Jaguar Fish. Thank you so much Captain Brett for giving my son and I a fantastic day of fishing. You are not only a great Captain but a great human being! We enjoyed talking with, and fishing with you! Thanks for helping us carry on our family tradition and we loved having you as a part of it.

  August fishing trip

  4 Hour Trip - Bass Fishing on August 1, 2026 • 3 adults

  captain john, got us on the boat, in TVthe skt line, awesome view. i did catch a gar, it was good size. we caught, crappie, bass, and captain john was telling us about the lake, when fishing was at a peak, showed us proper and much better way to cast from a boat. told us how to read the way the water would flow around the visible small islands. if i would have had the time, i would made another charter for some speck fishing. it is worth the time and money.

  6 Hour Trip - Bass Fishing on March 3, 2026 • 2 adults

  I'm probably a tough grader. My day on Okeechobee with John Larsen was great! John is a fine fisherman and a pleasure to spend time with. He knows the lake and kept us safely and comfortably out of the high winds and roughest water all day. Between the two of us, we landed about 10 mid-size bass over 6 hours on the water, all on artifical lures. Ideally, we would have been on the fish more and had a more productive day, but I don't blame John for this. I will definitely hire John on my next trip to Okeechobee (if I can -- he's pretty heavily booked up) and would highly recommend him to anyone who takes their fishing seriously.

  Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and leaving this recommendation. I wish every day could be a big number of catches, and all big fish, it just does not happen like that. We worked hard, especially with artificial lures to get on them and the biggest ones possible. I am glad you had a great time and look forward to fishing with you again in the future.   We had a great time. Trip got cut a little short because of weather; but our giude Justin, was on it and got us on to some nice bass. we had a great time and would definitely go out on the water with Justin again.
