You will be spending your day out on Lake Okeechobee battling huge Largemouth Bass. This is some of the best Bass action in the state, and you couldn’t pick a more beautiful place to do it.
Capt. John’s 22’ Sterling 2020 is a thing of beauty. Built in 2020 and designed specifically for this style of fishing, she boasts a top speed of 65 knots, which is enough to have a great day even without fishing! The vessel also has plenty of fishing space, Garmin electronics, stereo, and 3 livewells to keep your bait fresh and fighting fit.
Bass Flats & Beyond specializes in light tackle and fly fishing. You will be supplied with tournament-grade conventional tackle and can bring your favorite fly gear along, too. You will also have a range of lures to choose from, and Capt. John can stock live bait for a small surcharge.
Just pack your license, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and any food and drink you want for the day, and you’re good to go.
