- Background
- We have taken many fishing trips with friends, families, and work acquaintances over the past 20 years and now we would like to extend our services to those who would like a more personal fishing experience. I have been fishing in these waters for over 40 years and have enjoyed everything that Lake Erie has to offer and want to share that with others. We specialize in father and son trips as well as couples or close friends that just want an enjoyable memorable day on the lake. Our boat is smaller but can accommodate two people very comfortably and three people would still be very fishable as well. We also specialize in afternoon and evening fishing trips to accommodate busy work schedules. We do offer lodging for overnight stays for those who want to fish early in the morning or for those who want to fish one evening and go back early the next morning for a second trip of fishing the following day. All fishing equipment is provided for you, all you need to bring is a valid Ohio fishing license, proper clothing for the weather, footwear, sunscreen, and motion sickness medicine if needed. fish cleaning is not included but, can be done at the local bait shop at the top of the hill.
- Techniques
- Trolling for walleye is the most effective fishing for walleye near Conneaut Harbor, however; during the late spring if the waves are just right drift fishing can also be done. For Perch fishing it's locating a school of fish and then anchoring. Perch fishing has been extremely slow for the past six years so would not recommend strictly fishing for perch.
