You’re likely to go after Walleye, Yellow Perch, and more with any luck. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea for a boost of energy when needed!

Your boat for the day is a 20’ Starcraft sport fishing boat with room for 3 adults or two adults and two children passengers. It comes with downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures.

Before coming aboard, it is required to buy a local Ohio fishing license for everyone in your group with the exception of children under the age of 16. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, sunglasses, hats, and motion sickness medicine if needed. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
