Our day was better than we could have imagined. Capt Bruce is accommodating and nice as can be!  I told him this trip to the Canyon was for my 15 yo grandson. He snd his team went over and above. Chris and Brian are the best first mates and worked hard to make this a day my grandson won’t forget.  Now; you can never guarantee the fish being cooperative but the knowledge and competence of this team increases your chances greatly.  It did for us.  The boat? we had great conversation, the weather was perfect, and we loved the boat. we even had the opportunity to learn tons from our captain about Chincoteague Island and the history! Oh yeah and we were fishing too!!!

Bruce was a great captain. He had a plan to run out a little further to put us on fish but with a storm coming in the ocean had kicked up bigger waves and made run time to the original location much longer than anticipated. Bruce quickly made a new plan to fish inland another location and put us on fish. When fishing slowed down he gave us a nice tour around the island to show us some things we wouldn’t have seen from land. Great time on the water. Highly recommend! Thanks Bruce!

Bruce went the extra mile to put us on fish. He’s very knowledgeable of angling in the area, and about the island in general! Also Bruce made sure everyone engaged and entertained! Loved the boat! The water was a little choppy that day, but you wouldn’t know it! Might sound trivial to some, but if you or someone in your party tends to get sea sick easily, that can make all the difference! Bruce will definitely be our first choice on next adventure!
