Salt Addict is all about fishing the stunning waters of Chincoteague. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Bruce is prepared to put you on fish.

These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna,
Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, Black Seabass, Tilefish, Flounder, Gray Triggerfish, Spadefish, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You'll find yourself aboard a 36' Cape Horn center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. You can't go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing with Salt Addict?

Great offshore trip
Near Shore Trip- Wreck Fishing on July 6, 20262 adults2 children

Captain Bruce and first mate Waylon made this a memorable experience for my daughter and son's first offshore fishing trip. We had fun catching flounder, tautog, triggerfish, seabass, and blue fish. We even took time to watch the dolphins before the unexpected weather change. I highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great time with the family and can't wait for our next trip.

Fishing with Bruce
Half Day Trip - Near Shore AM on July 9, 20265 adults1 child

We have been bringing our grandpeeps since they were born 20 years. Traditionally, our last meal on the Island is to process our experience of the week. The grands and Pap all agreed, "our fishing trip was the BEST vacation ever!!" Thank you, so much Captain Bruce and Wayland. Please thank Mrs. Bruce for teaching them how to fry the Trigger. It was the absolute best! Ya'll scored!!

Amazing Trip!!
Half Day Trip - Near Shore PM on June 17, 20264 adults2 children

What an amazing time we had with 2 of the best guys. This trip was everything and more than I could have thought. Bruce and Bryan were great with my 10 and 14 year olds, they even let the 10 year old sit beside the captain on the way back. We caught keeper fish and always had lots of action. Would highly recommend this boat and captain to anybody. Thanks so much for such a great time.

I started out fishing in the Chesapeake Bay for many years. Once I was introduced to offshore fishing in the Atlantic I was hooked! I've had the privilege of fishing these waters for well over 10 years and would love to share the fun
