We booked a 4 hour fishing trip with captain Rick for the family of 4, starting at 6am. Best striped bass fishing ever, period. We used only one rod, and still the action was very intense. Each of us caught at least 3 fish before we gave up. We could hear the other boats catching a few fish on the radio too, but nothing compared to what we have experienced. A great sonar on a boat was a great help.  Changed 4 spots before finding a good one. Capitan Rick was very careful with taking accurate measurements of the catch. More than half of the stripers were oversized and were released, as well as a few small ones. Our 13 year old pulled double fishes twice. We kept 3 stripers and one blue fish, still eating them. The taste of both types was great because the fish was clearly on a calamari protein diet. Never had a blue fish before with such a mild “calamari” taste. Plan for a cooler bag option if you want to keep the catch and not afraid to jinx it. Get some gloves for the pictures.

Rick is master guide for fishing off Cape Cod. His knowledge of the waters and what to look for is impressive. Others boats were circling around and we basically got our limit of Stripers in 2 hours. You’d be foolish to not book a trip with him

Great charter.  Rick is very friendly and accommodating.  We caught 10 striped bass in three hour.  This was our very first charter so I highly recommend fishing with Rick.

Rick was a good captain. He was on to fish immediately and we caught fish for most the trip. Overall a great trip!

We had such a great time, we caught plenty of fish, and Rick was awesome!
