First time fisher, captain Scott was amazing and first mate were very understanding and honest.  There was a misunderstanding and Captain Scott was very honest and resolved my concern immediately and honestly.  This is ha4d to find. I felt very safe and trusted Captain Scott with the trip. To some the waves were nothing,  to me and my kids they were huge, Captain Scott got us through the waives safely and even made sure we got a fish, 2 sharks were successfully reeled in! I honestly had an amazing time and can not wait to book again! Thank you for the amazing memories and laughs the entire time! Very professional as well. We did the 6 hour trip.

After a last minute cancellation of our first charter with another Captain (at no fault to him), Capt. Scott graciously took our group of 5 out in the ocean for some in-shore fishing. The day before there were thunderstorms all day long which made the Spanish Mackerel not want to bite for any boat that was out there. After an hour of no fish, Capt. Scott asked our group if we wanted to go out further to try to find King Mackerel at no extra charge and would not include the 30 minute ride time in our 4-hour trip. Of course we said yes and Capt. Scott put us on a ship wreck about 14 miles out and after a few passes, we caught 5 Kings, one for each of us. The 6th King we started reeling in was ripped in half by a barracuda before we could get it in the boat!

First Mate Parker worked his tail off setting up all the rods for us and taught us how reel them in without them coming off the hook.

The Fish Hunter was a smooth riding vessel with a covered front half of the boat, which was perfect for getting out of the sun out on the ocean.

I’ve been fishing with my family on several chart boats. This has been by far the best experience I have ever had on the water! Captain Scott will make sure to get you on the meat. Not only were we able to keep several species for the freezer but the overall experience him and his mate provided on the boat was top notch! The crew was so much fun on the water, it wouldn’t have mattered if we caught fish or not. We still would’ve had a great time. Thanks so much captain Scott we will definitely be booking again with this captain and crew! We look forward to the next trip!

Only had 4 hrs but we caught fish had a great time. Captain worked with us on the weather and advised us when the 1st couple of days were rough seas and got to go out on a good day
