Great trip with Capt John. We met him at the ramp at 5a, did a safety review of where everything was located on the boat, loaded up drinks, lunches, and gear then we pushed off the dock. Chatted all the way out to the grounds on plan for the day, where we would start and tactics we would be using. Boat was prepared with gear to target multiple species of fish in the event we switched things up. My family of five had an amazing time fishing with Captain John! He was so knowledgeable and such a pro. We all caught a variety of fish and my youngest even caught a shark with Martha’s Vineyard as our back drop. We made so many lifetime memories and are already looking forward to our next opportunity to get back on the water with Captain John. Highly recommend!

We’ve only ever done group charters in the past, and this was a great introduction to private trips! Capt. John was super knowledgeable, had good equipment, found us good spots, and was great conversation, and it was awesome having him nearby at all times to help where he was needed! As someone who has been fishing lakes for years I know how much fishing can change from day to day. One day they are jumping in the boat and the next you would swear there’s none in the lake. Captain John worked hard to find the fish during a slow time. And find them he did. I will definitely fish with him again.
