Perfect trip for our family. Captain John was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and kind with the kids. We caught lots of fish! We’ll do it again next year!

Captain John was great with coordination, very engaging throughout the trip, and readily changed tactics and gear when the bite slowed and conditions changed.  He also took into consideration our comfort as we adjusted our trip to the north side of the Cape to avoid the bigger swells from the southerly winds.  Bottom line…beautiful sunrise, great conversation and learning, and bent rods (with three keepers:) translated to an awesome day on the water!

Great trip with Capt John. We met him at the ramp at 5a, did a safety review of where everything was located on the boat, loaded up drinks, lunches, and gear then we pushed off the dock. Chatted all the way out to the grounds on plan for the day, where we would start and tactics we would be using. Boat was prepared with gear to target multiple species of fish in the event we switched things up. I’ll start off by saying - I won’t charter with anyone else. From the moment I step on Captain John’s boat, I can feel the energy running high. Between the endless laughter, the stories, and the music - I always feel at home. Captain John is extremely experienced all over the cape, both topwater and subsurface, and is ready to roll at the drop of a hat. My family of five had an amazing time fishing with Captain John! He was so knowledgeable and such a pro. We all caught a variety of fish and my youngest even caught a shark with Martha’s Vineyard as our back drop. We made so many lifetime memories and are already looking forward to our next opportunity to get back on the water with Captain John. Highly recommend!
