First wade fishing trip with my family.  Larry was great, taught us what we needed to know, and knew the waters and fish behavior like none other.  Great guide, was persistent in helping find fish for us, and patient as we got the hang of wade fishing.  Great experience.  Highly recommend!

Captain Larry is both a very knowledgeable fisherman and good host. Went wade fishing with a group of five and everyone caught fish all day long- great at teaching the new guys how to fish while making sure we were on fish at the same time. Fantastic day of fishing and would highly recommend.

Knowledgeable congenial guide put us on fish in challenging (windy) conditions.  We Caught two of the biggest trout I have seen at 25+ inches(released).  And 6 redfish also released by our choice.  Will definitely be repeat customers.  We had a good day, cannot recommend highly enough.

If you’re looking for a fun guide who knows exactly what he is doing, look no further than Captain Larry Bell!!! We booked Captain Larry because of all the reviews. And they were spot on! Our group of 4 was 2 guys (who “knew” what they were doing) and 2 ladies who had never fished before. Captain Larry taught us ladies to fish, and in about 10 minutes I had caught the first fish!!! Our day quickly turned into a competition of guys vs girls and Captain Larry made sure to keep the fun going with his quick one liners. He is very knowledgeable and if you’ve never fished before, he will have you feeling like a pro in no time! Since our trip with Captain Larry, we have spoken to him several times, and are looking for the first available date to get back down to Port Aransas to fish with him again!! Thank you, Captain Larry for a wonderful day!! And for the record…..the girls caught way more fish than the guys!

This may sound strange, but my goal in going out with Larry wasn’t really to catch fish. I’m moving to the area and wanted to learn tips and techniques for fishing these waters. I don’t think I could have picked a better guide.

Larry knows his stuff! He’s very willing to share, and explains things in easy to understand ways. He didn’t focus on *what* we were doing, but *why* we were doing it.

We did catch fish, but what I learned from Larry made me a better fisherman.

Not only is he incredibly knowledgable, he’s also a super-nice guy. If you’re hesitant about booking with him, don’t be. He busts his tail to get you where you need to be, you won’t be disappointed.
