We attended this as a family trip, my boyfriend, my daughter, her friend (both teenage girls) and I. Jason was very helpful and eager to make sure we were catching fish. Sometimes he was more enthusiastic than us when we did catch fish which made it entertaining to listen to him. It was a bit choppy today and my daughter was nervous to grab onto something scared she was going to break it and Jason told her “everything in here is replaceable, while you are not” which was incredibly mindful. He was easy to talk to as was Captain J. My daughter and her friend aren’t ones for fishing so they decided to sit with the Captain. The two played games which he was willing to participate and joke along with them. My daughter had a camera, so her and her friend were constantly looking for things such as dolphins and every time he saw one he made sure to announce it. Both are easy to talk to and made you feel comfortable no matter if you’re interested in the fishing or not. Overall this was a great experience and we would definitely choose Captain J Charters and Jason again.

I booked this fishing charter somewhat last minute for myself, my two sons and two of their friends. The boys were all aged 13 to 18. Captain J picked us up at the pier and Panama City, which made it a shorter drive from Mexico Beach. He really knows these waters and how to put us over top of fish and keep the boat there. Jason was fantastic, untangling lines, keeping lines, baited, and assisting the boys with general fishing guidance, and sharing his experiences in the Coast Guard. Even though we booked a four hr bottom fishing in the gulf trip, we had time to do a little trolling on the way out, and Captain J gave us almost 5 hours by the time we returned to the dock, since he didn’t have an afternoon trip scheduled.  Super generous and we enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend this charter and look forward to going out with them again!

Captain Janey and his Dexk hand Jason were amazing. We had 5 on our trip and 3 first timers. They put us on some beautiful fish and we caught some beautiful Snowy Grouper! Everyone caught fish and made the trip perfect! We will definitely come back!! Great job Gentlemen, capped off a perfect week with my kids in amazing style!! We come to PCB every year and try and always make it to a fishing charter while here. This was by far one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. The captain and deck hand Jason were awesome! So personable and great with the kiddo that came. Everyone caught something. Thank y’all for the memories! We would recommend them to anyone looking for a great time fishing!
