This early spring has had the steelhead running much earlier then normal. The recent rains had many of oyr larher rivers running high and dirty, but with a little extra gas we have been finding plenty of fish in some of our smaller creeks! March and April dates available! Matt

Spey fishing for spring Steelhead

This unusually warm spring has made the season kick off earlier then normal, but weve been out getting after them! Here is a nice wild buck taken this past week on the two handed gear. My guests first fish on the spey!

My 11 YO son, my father in law and I went out with Captain Matt. He was awesome and I wish we booked him both days. He was great with my son, as he’d hook a fish occasionally and hand it to him…really great guide for kids. We caught a good chunk of fish and hit a few big fish on a pretty choppy day. I would absolutely rebook with him in the future. high recommend!

Certainly helped by great weather, but this was a fabulous day of fishing. Captain Matt was awesome! He is very knowledgeable about the Georgian Bay area, the water, and the prime fishing spots. We hooked into a 6 pounder first thing and the whole day was filled with bass and pike. Very enjoyable and a great experience!
