- I actually grew up in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, right along the Mississippi river. I grew up hunting and fishing and when I was old enough my friends and I ventured out onto the river and that's where we stayed, catfishing, bowfishing and every other kind of fishing activity in between. It was what I did every free moment I had. When I moved to Florida about just shy of 10 years ago, I started to dive into saltwater fishing, and it opened such an amazing and beautiful world to me with so much to learn! I loved the variation of species and the different methods of fishing that I had never gotten to experience growing up. I loved it so much that I studied it for years and decided that even after graduating college that being in the fishing industry is where I wanted to be. Having a boat be my office and getting to share fishing experiences with people is truly a privilege and a dream come true. I wouldn't have it any other way.
- Techniques
- Being on the West coast of Florida, especially in southwest Florida, our bottom fishery is unmatched pretty much anywhere in the world and that's where my passion lies. Obviously, there are certain species that are targeted on a particular trip, however it's like dropping your line down into a mystery box. You never know what you're going to hook into! I also have a obsession with testing out big tackle and bringing some big baits for some toothy critters!
