He started running a professional charter service in order to share his love for the fish and fishing as a sport with other like-minded people. This is my 14th season of charter fishing, for the first 6 years I was a deckhand, then I went to captains school and worked for a few companies for just under 2 seasons, then I bought my first boat in 2017 and have been running our family business ever since.
Techniques: Live bait, bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, anything you would like to try! If you have something specific in mind please discuss it with your guide before your fishing trip so they can come prepared to fit yours wants/needs!

Bull redfish have taken over Pensacola Bay & Sound! All is usually takes is a 3 or 4hr trip to get on these beautiful fish. Usually the redfish in these schools are “ over slot “ which means they must be released, but sometimes we catch slot fish mixed in! Captain Matt was a terrific captain and really made sure we were able to catch fish. He was generous enough to reschedule quickly after it rained during our scheduled trip. The next morning we were able to catch a bunch of keeper fish and even see some wildlife like dolphins and turtles. Excellent trip and well worth the money

You tipped us 300$ on a 650$ trip. Im 100% sure nothing of the sort happened Darren. You made a review over 2 weeks after the trip happened? I think what happened was your wife may have been a little bit tipsy and when I told her for the 10th time to drop down her rod tip from pointing directly into the sky so that the leader line could go threw the rod guides, and immediately afterwards either you or the other gentlemen was fighting a fish and it had broken off, I exclaimed “ god dang it “ , and she may have mistaken me saying that at the fish braking off as me talking to her instead of the fish situation. You never texted me, called me, or even talked to me in person about this. So I think what really happened was, you and her assumed I exclaimed “ god dang it “ , again at the fish situation, and not at her about the way to prosperly use the rod, as me exclaiming something that was not meant for her at all. I wasn’t even looking her way When that happened, tho it was right after I hand explained to her, again, for the 10th time, how to use the rod and reel she was using. On top of all of that. She continued fishing, as did all of the rest of you. Everyone continued talking and fishing for the remainder of the trip. I took you guys offshore instead of inshore like you had booked, so you got to catch a lot more fish , and bigger fish, than you would have on an inshore trip. Including red snapper & king fish.

My tip for the future is, talk to people you have an issue with before you try to blast them for something that never happened… Especially fishing guides.
