Capt Jairo and his mates, who are also his sons, made our first Aruba charter a great time. We did a 4 hour AM trip and managed to boat 3 mahi, and had a couple other knockdowns. They switched up some baits to try for other game and see if anything else was working better. We had a full moon, and a relative slow fishing season (mid/late July) so we had a lot of factors working against us. I would like to say amazing trip, friendly crew, and a clean boat. The day was slow and he warned us it’s been difficult fishing the past couple weeks. He did promise he would try his best. At the beginning of the day we didn’t catch anything but he still tried everything to help us catch a fish. So he brought us bottom fishing for grouper and managed to catch a few.
