- Fishing has been my passion since I can remember. My first recollection is of my dad tying a line to a long stick with a hook baited with a worm and piece of a stick for a bobber. We pulled in sunfish, trout and catfish that day and I was hooked for life. I think that is actually my earliest memory. I was 3. After school I spent 36 years climbing the corporate ladder and raising a family, but I fished frequently and passionately, covering the Pacific from Panama to Alaska, the Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and many other destinations around the globe. Upon retirement from corporate life in 2022, my wife and I relocated to Fort Myers, FL to live in the middle of some of the best fishing in the world. I now spend most days fishing and exploring the the bountiful inshore, nearshore and offshore waters of SW Florida. What inspires me most as a charter captain is teaching people to fish. I have caught many fish in my lifetime; the most fun for me now is to see other's land an epic fish. The excitement in a child's eye when they see a hooked snook fly out of the water is priceless.
