I have been a several dozen charters large and small; I have found the difference between a good Capt. and a great Capt. is the details. We had tough conditions, and the fish didn’t jump in the boat (AKA fishing.) We found a color pattern that out fished the others. He switched up some tackle to optimize our set. He felt a better bite may have been shallower than the rest of the fleet was fishing so we made an 8 mile move to new ground.  Good call, as we immediately picked up fish on the first pass and by our third pass, we filled the boat for our 2-man limit. The bite was not only stronger but held a better-quality fish with 24 and 27” fish over the rail. One of the fish things I do on a new boat is to check leaders and hooks to make sure they are not brittle and dull. None of that on this boat, as everything was new and top condition. I am looking forward to my next trip with Captain Trent Lee in April of next year. Should I make it back to his area this November I’ll take on the elements to get back on the water with him.  I have two other guides thus far across the United States that I will rebook without hesitation, it’s nice to know I can add eye 2 eye to the list.

Captain Trent took my wife, my father in law, mother in law and my self on a half day charter on 04/11/2024. My family paid for the charter as a birthday gift. We had a blast, we were limited out in 2.5 hours of fishing. Trent knew how to put us on big fish and was fun and entertaining The whole trip. When we pulled back into the dock he quickly cleaned all our fish and had us packed up. I’ve been on 35-40 charters in my life anll over the world and this was by far 1 of the best I’ve been on. If you’re considering taking him up on a charter you will not regret it. I will be returning soon for another charter or 2 soon.

Fantastic day fishing with Captain Trent for Walleye.  My son and I went out with Trent and the day started out a little choppy and challenging with wind.  Trent got us on the fish, extremely knowledgeable.  Very impressed with his knowledge and ability as a captain didn’t follow the crowds and put us on them, true professional we caught our limit and had a fantastic day.  My son and I had a great day making memories and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a trip with Captain Trent.  He was great with my son and increased our fishing IQ.  We are looking forward to booking again.

I had a great time fishing in the afternoon with captain Trent.  He took my girlfriend (a very inexperienced angler) and myself (a pretty avid fisherman) out for an afternoon trip on 7/6/2024.  He accommodated both of us well and put us on some nice walleye including a big 30 incher!  Will be looking to book him for another trip in the future.

Captain Trent was on time and ready to go at 6am. Me and two buddies caught our limit within an hour and a half, three of which were over 29”. We continued trolling for walleye for another hour or so, then switched gears and smacked some smallmouth to end the day. Highly recommend Captain Trent for your next fishing trip!
