I have been a several dozen charters large and small; I have found the difference between a good Capt. and a great Capt. is the details. We had tough conditions, and the fish didn’t jump in the boat (AKA fishing.) We found a color pattern that out fished the others. He switched up some tackle to optimize our set. He felt a better bite may have been shallower than the rest of the fleet was fishing so we made an 8 mile move to new ground.  Good call, as we immediately picked up fish on the first pass and by our third pass, we filled the boat for our 2-man limit. The bite was not only stronger but held a better-quality fish with 24 and 27” fish over the rail. One of the fish things I do on a new boat is to check leaders and hooks to make sure they are not brittle and dull. None of that on this boat, as everything was new and top condition. I am looking forward to my next trip with Captain Trent Lee in April of next year. Should I make it back to his area this November I’ll take on the elements to get back on the water with him.  I have two other guides thus far across the United States that I will rebook without hesitation, it’s nice to know I can add eye 2 eye to the list.

Captain Trent gave me the best experience of my life we caught some Lake Erie donkeys and in the process had great conversation. He’s very knowledgeable, experienced, and knows how to make you feel at home. His boat was great very family oriented I will be booking again. Book with Trent you won’t regret it.

I had a great time fishing in the afternoon with captain Trent.  He took my girlfriend (a very inexperienced angler) and myself (a pretty avid fisherman) out for an afternoon trip on 7/6/2024.  He accommodated both of us well and put us on some nice walleye including a big 30 incher!  Will be looking to book him for another trip in the future.

Captain Trent was knowledgeable and taught us how to catch the fish we were looking for. All of us had a great time learning what makes the fish bite and how to hook them.
