If catching a giant shark was what we came for we got our money’s worth.  We definitely reeled in a damn monster. But, I probably wouldn’t do it again or I’d know what to ask and get clear expectations before I did.
That was the fish of a life time. it certainly was a prize for the captain, being his first big bull shark, a 6 foot+ monster.  I’m real happy for him, The captain was a great guy and we really enjoyed spending the afternoon with him. It just doesn’t feel like a catch any of us made,
We reeled in a massive shark and its impossible to know how things might have gone otherwise for the rest of the day. Within just a few minutes the captain baited, cast and hooked one.  He handed the pole over to my son to let him reel in a big cat.  Then he baited, cast and hooked another one.  This was the monster that we spent the next 4 hours fighting with.  Again, I don’t know enough to say,  i’m not a pro fisherman so you take the captains word.  If you hook a 250 lb shark on 40 lb test line and have to let him run around with it for 4 hours because you don’t want to tighten up the drag and break the line. Do you use 40 lb test fishing for shark?  I know my son would have been happy if we’d lost him so he could do some fishing, or at least cast a line,  He would have loved to bait, cast, hook his own something and he felt like it’s not his catch if he just helps to reel for a while.

This trip was awesome! Got exactly what we paid for and more! Captain Hunter and Collin were awesome and great dudes to hang out with all day (well half the day. My buddies and I drove 4 hours for this trip and we’d definitely do it again! Everything we needed to succeed was provided. We caught 10 or so keeper Speckled trout and a bunch of throwback panfish.  I wish the huge trout wouldn’t have snapped me off though! Almost had it! Thanks again guys! Look forward to making another trip down there one day and hopefully not getting stabbed in the foot by a catfish. 😂😂😂

We had an amazing shark fishing trip and highly recommend Fish N Divers.  Captain Hunter was great and this was by far our best fishing charter.  My 10 yr old caught a 50 lb and 100 lb sandbar shark.  My husband caught a giant Red fish and I caught a little Atlantic Sharpnose Shark🦈. I had a 200 lb, 7 ft Blacktip on that also took my husband bait too 😳.  We fought it for 30 mins.  Too bad it broke the lines but not before we saw the MONSTER surface😱Captain Hunter said if we got it in, it would have been a record.  It was HUGE!  We took filets of our shark and red fish and had them cooked up at Top Water grill.  What an awesome day !!

Well the day didn’t go as we had hoped. The specks and reds wouldn’t cooperate so Hunter changed it up a put my wife and i on 2 nice sharks.  We had a blast.  My wife didn’t even want to go but ended up having a good time.  Hunter and Randy were first class guys.  Very helpful and knowledgeable about anything we asked them.  Laughed and joked whole trip.  Will definitely be going with them again.

We are from Lake Charles and did a family fishing trip while in Galveston for the 4th of July weekend. Even though we weren’t able to catch much (we believe mostly because of the storm that rolled through just a day prior), we had a blast on the trip. Our captain, Hunter, was very knowledgeable, amiable, and helped us have the great time that we did. We enjoyed fishing with Fish N Divers and would definitely do it again.
