The month of May is a great time to catch Monster Redfish. Yesterdays trip was amazing. We caught 15 Bull Redfish over 30 pounds. I couldn’t say “Fish On” enough.

Half Day Trip – Shark Hunt (AM)

We didn’t catch much. I get that - it happens. But here is what frustrated me: we signed up for the ‘Shark Hunt’ trip. We wound up fishing for trout. What’s worse is that we spent the last hour fishing in a current so fast that the fish literally couldn’t bite if they wanted to. Crew was nice but I would have appreciated a little more effort in finding some fish.

We didn’t catch much. I get that - it happens. But here is what frustrated me: we signed up for the ‘Shark Hunt’ trip....

Wes, Im sorry the bite was slow and the currents were fast today. The waters were to rough to get out where the sharks were so we tried to make the best of the day. I was pretty disappointed…I paid a lot of money and my three teenage boys had high hopes of catching even just one shark, but we caught none. I’m not an expert, so I can’t say what Kyle should or shouldn’t have done to increase our chances of catching a shark, but for $600+, 4 hours on the water, and a professional fishing guide, I think it was reasonable to expect to catch even one shark, since that’s what was advertised. Melissa, Im sorry we didnt catch a shark, we tried our best and im sorry it didnt work out. It is Fishing tho and there isnt a gurantee that you will catch sharks everytime you go.
