We went from 2-7pm.  While this is not the best time to fish, Jarrod never gave up helping us look for fish.  We ended up with a pretty good day of fishing for us -our first time on a charter- and a great family experience we won’t forget.  Thank you to Jarrod and In The Box Fishing Charters!

Wonderful experience!  Our first time out on a charter fishing boat, and had a great time!  Captain Jarrod took us rookies through all the basics and had us catching fish without any issues! A great vacation memory that my sons are ecstatic about!  Would definitely seek him out for our next outing!

I took my parents out on Lake Michigan for a Sunset trip. We had a really good time. We had just a little rain but nothing that was a problem. Jarrod is very knowledgeable of the trade. He was quick and very alert. We caught our limit and had a very nice time. I would definitely go again. If you are looking for a relaxing family get togetheri recommend taking them fishing. We stayed busy but had time to visit. Made lasting memories.

We had an great time on the afternoon / sunset fishing charter. With 4 adults and 2 children, and 4 of them having very minimal fishing experience, we all caught multiple fish and some of them were quite large (over 10 lbs)!

The boat was clean and the fishing gear was very new. Everything was in great shape and easy to use - especially for the kids.  Jarrod’s instruction to the kids was friendly and simple enough for them to understand.  One of the parts that I liked the most was how social Jarrod was with everyone - especially the kids.  You could see how excited he got for the boys when they were landing their fish - and for a father that is the mark of a great fishing guide!

I booked this excursion to provide my family (wife, kids, in-laws) a different kind of experience that was fun but also unlike anything else that we have done together before.  We all had a blast!  It has been about 2 weeks since the trip and my kids and father-in-law are still talking about it.  Great memories and great pictures to hold onto for sure.

After going through a long year with many challenges and disappointments, this trip was exactly what we all needed to wrap up our summer together. I can’t say enough to express my gratitude. And the sunset views out on the lake were beautiful to enjoy as we wrapped things up to head back in. 

We will definitely visit St. Joseph again in the future. And when we are there - I will definitely reach out to Jarrod again to see if we can link up for another outing.

We had a great time.  We caught some fish and had fun with the captain.  We will do this again!
