We had a great time and I caught my 1st sailfish.

This was going to be the highlight of our trip to Florida but instead, it couldn’t have been more frustrating and disappointing.  After waking up our three kids (7, 5, 18 months) at 5:30 am and driving an hour we couldn’t find the boat/shop despite exhausting both Google and Apple maps.  The more frustrating part is that neither Colossal Catch nor Fishingbooker could be reached by phone, text, or email with the numbers provided to us or contact info online.  We thought for sure when our family of 5 didn’t show up on time for our private charter we’d get a phone call from the captain…NOPE!  That was at 7:30 am and it’s now 4:30 pm and we haven’t heard from either.  This is extremely frustrating as our kids were super excited about the boat and getting to fish in the ocean for the first time.  Instead, they got to spend 3 hours in the car with a cranky toddler and two frustrated parents.  We even went so far as to drive another 30 more minutes to Stuart, FL to address google had for Colossal Catch at a Marriot resort but there was nothing.  I’m absolutely bewildered that no one has called us back after texting us for weeks about our outing.  I’m LIVID!!!
