Techniques: We Normally specialize in traditional bottom fishing. We use live and dead bait to present a natural presentation and produce steady bites and hookups through out the day. We also do live bait trolling and artificial trolling for mackerel and Tuna species, and offer shark fishing as well. We like to see our customers rod bent all day. We may change our approach depending on what’s in season and if the guest are after table fare, catch and release, or looking to land that one big trophy fish in a day.

Red snapper bite has been hot

Grey triggerfish open back up for harvest on march 1. The trigger fish and vermillion snapper have been biting great along with red snapper and some other jack species. We have been theowing piles of triggers back the last month and are looking to bring some to the dock. Weather is good, calm most days and still pretty cool in the mornings. Great time of year to get on the water!

Fun afternoon fishing trip with a couple of old college friends. We fished a couple of Capt Matt's favorite spots and found some nice speckled trout! This crew will be back in July with their families. We can't wait to create more memories and send them home with some more fish for their freezer!

Captain Taylor was awsome and knows how to get you on the fish and stay on the fish!!! Ian worked his tail off keeping us baited and in the water, super helpful with the younger kids in our group and paid extra attention to make sure they were hooking up!!! Thanks again for a great trip. We will be coming back again next summer

Awesome time, Captain Taylor consistently put us on fish, and his deck hand Ian was one of the best we’ve had. Was super patient with the kids, well organized, and very skilled. Captain Taylor was very knowledgeable as to where to find the fish on our charter. His mate Matt was very helpful and keeping our lines untangled and was overall excellent. We caught a 10 foot long, 600 ib. bull shark and our limit of red snapper and many extras. I will definitely book with Captain Taylor again, five star rating and above.!!!

Captain Taylor and his first mate took us on a four hour trip and it was what every charter should be. Clean accommodations and friendly service. After we arrived at our first spot we immediately began catching fish. And continued catching fish until it was time to head back. I will book another trip with Captain Taylor again.
