Best of the 4-5 charters we have done in gulf area. Ian, first mate, was great with our group, keeping us baited and helping us get lots of fish in. Patient with the whole group even when we snagged ourselves up. Captain Taylor moved us around a bunch to make sure we got over the right spots. If we stopped and our first bites weren’t right, we moved along quickly which resulted in a great haul of good sized fish.

Tyler and Matt were a good duo.  Threw them for a loop and wanted to not focus on Red Snapper even though they are in season and most want to go out for.  Caught 8 different species throughout the day and even a decent wahoo.  Captain Taylor made audibles and kept us busy fishing.  Matt kept us bated and taught throughout the day.  Solid day on the water and will return again to the Hound Dog Charters team.

Had a great time! Capt Taylor and Matt were awesome. They made sure to put us on some fish. Husband even got a thrill with fighting and catching a 200-300 lb bull shark! Son loved the boat ride and was able to catch a few trigger fish—unfortunately they were out of season so we couldnt take them home, but we did catch our fair share of red snappers. Taylor and Ian were awesome, couldn’t have had a better time. Taylor would put us on a hot spot every time fish would move and Ian couldn’t have worked harder. With 4 of us fishing and as soon as a line was in the water, there was a fish being reeled in and Ian would have us baited and back to fishing. Wonderful experience with Captain Waterfield and First Mate Matt.  Cpt and crew put us on the Red Snapper right out of the gate and we had our legal limit in less that 15 minutes.  Crew was attentive, coached us through the fishing experience and provided plenty of knowledge and encouragement.  Even gave us the time and opportunity to do some shark fishing and had us hooking our very first 6’ shark for the fishing experience of our lifetimes!  Again, thank you to the Captain and Crew of...
