Captain and crew worked hard to get fish in the boat in a short amount of time…moved spots, changed bait size, and switched tactics to target different species.  Was able to get fish for meals as well as a trophy.  Would highly recommend and will rebook if ever in the area again.  Thanks Josh!

My son and I had giant sails on the bucket list and Josh and Crew, Bradley and Chino, delivered with 4 huge ones! What a totally insane day! Dolphins chasing the boat doing acrobatics. Hunting sails, seeing them come from a distance. A total thrill! And some snapper on the way back.

Captain Josh was an amazing host through all steps of the process, from advance communication to being on the water all day. His crew is super friendly and all-around very knowledgeable. If I come back to Los Sueños, I’d be sure to book Deep Republic again.

although fishing was slow, Josh and crew did a fantastic job trying to get us on some billfish.  One was landed for some great photos.  If ever back in this area again, we will definately book Josh and crew again!

We had an amazing time with Josh and Dani today. Had to make a hard run to get to the tuna but had a fantastic day. These guys were prepared, experienced, a lot of fun and extremely kind and patient with my 3 teenage kids. I was very impressed with the preparation and effort and beyond pleased with the results. Highly recommend these guys. And the absence of any language barrier is a bonus. Can’t complain about Spanish in Costa Rica but English speaking captain and mate makes things so much... More
