- Hi. I’m Capt. Daiki. I’ve been a fishing enthusiast since I first got into kayak fishing around 2020. I go out on the water three days a week to chase various fish around Awaji Island. Initially, it was difficult to get fish to bite because I couldn’t figure out the right “when” and “where,” but I’ve gotten much better now. Along with my fishing enthusiasm, I’ve also focused on learning how to cook my catch. Through my experience cooking thousands of fish I’ve caught, I can now prepare them into a variety of dishes. As for my English fluency, I spent a year in Sydney, Australia during high school. In my late 20s, I also spent two and a half years in Toronto, Canada as a busking musician. Anyway, I hope you have a great fishing day in Japan with me.
- Techniques
- Jigging(80-180g), Tai Rubber(80-100g), Sabiki
