We have been running some fun 4 hr inshore reef trips. While most of the fish caught on these trips are catch and release, families that are looking for constant fast action and variety have been having a blast bringing up seabass, ringtail, sharks, flounder and whatever else is hanging out at the reef while we are there! Weโ€™ve also been having luck on our other 4 hr offering targeting Spanish Mackerel- filing freezers and swimming straight to dinner near you. Summer is booking up so we recommend booking early now through August.

We were excited to see the Spanish really chewing on this mornings trip! Weโ€™ve been catching a few here or there for a little while but today was the first day we really brought them in the boat in large numbers! Always excited to see these migrational, tasty fish arrive here in Carolina Beach. The best bite is usually our morning trips so for the most action set those alarms and lets go!

We have been having a blast going after Atlantic Bonito which are only here for a short time usually April/May as they migrate north. Not to be confused with the Bonita aka little tunny, or false albacore, which is a strong meaty tasting fish. The Atlantic Bonito is a prized eating fish. They are known for their firm, dense, and sweet-tasting meat, which is delicious when prepared sashimi, grilled, or baked. Our morning trips have been especially productive bringing in all you can handle Atlantic Bonito, blues and spanish. Come get em while theyre still here!

Fall fishing is here and we are ready for it! Weโ€™ve had great fishing offshore targeting Amberjacks, king mackerel and barracuda. Inshore the spanish are coming in the boat as well. Our latest trip even included a citation Amberjack weighing in at 52lbs
