We booked a 4-hour fishing trip. It was a great trip that we will remember forever! Boat was very clean and spacious. Captain took us to different locations based on what we wanted to catch. He was super knowledgeable and knew where to fish, what to use, and how to catch different fish. I also appreciate his knowledge of the different specifications of each fish. We used many different kinds of bait, like squid, chopped bait, and live bait. We were able to catch two amberjack super quick, and then we were catching trigger fish, bonitas, vermillion snapper, and other fish. We also got to see a few sea turtles and dolphins as a bonus on our trip!

My wife, son, friend, and I had an unforgettable experience during our week-long vacation in Destin, Fl. We decided to try deep sea fishing for the first time and were fortunate to have Captain Wayne as our guide.

From the moment we stepped onto his beautiful boat, which was clean and fully equipped, we knew we were in for a treat. Captain Wayne gave us clear and patient instructions, making us feel comfortable and confident despite being novices. He expertly navigated us to the best fishing spots, ensuring that if we didn’t get any bites within a few minutes, we quickly moved to a more promising location.

Our efforts were rewarded with a fantastic catch, more than enough for a delightful “hook n’ cook” dinner. As a chef with 35 years of experience, Captain Wayne even shared his personal recipe for fish tacos.

The weather was great which made for a great start. The Captain communicated well and we arrived at the dock about 9:00.  He did a quick safety check and then we were off.  The first stop was the seam at the incoming tide, we did a couple passes trolling then went to a few other spots.  We started getting bit as we got closer to the jetty.  We found a spot with some fish and put 5 keeper Flounder in the boat quickly.  We had just as many keepers as we did smaller fish.  After about another hour we headed back where the Captain filleted our fish for us.  We all had a great time.  The boat was outfitted well with electronics and fresh live bait.
We all caught fish and all had a great time!

Captain Wayne was outstanding! He went out of his way to make sure our trip happened considering the storms predicted in the area. He rescheduled our trip to make sure we were able to go as our planned trip was rained out. He was very knowledgeable about wildlife in the area and the equipment needed to catch them. He was friendly and point-forward. Would recommend 10/10 and hope to have another trip out with him soon.

Had a great experience, the captain put us on the fish right away very knowledgeable and nice. Sometimes when you go on a guided fishing trip, the captains seem to be almost agitated, but not this captain. He was very nice very talkative and engaging. He let us fish and bait our own hooks and didn’t treat us as though we didn’t know what we were doing. I would book this trip again.
