The water was rough & choppy. The fish were not biting well at all anywhere. We could here Capt. John talking with other Captains all trying to figure out where the fish were & what depths & retrieval speeds were working etc. Capt John did everything in his power to make sure we enjoyed our trip and were catching fish.  Ultimately I am pretty certain we outfitted all other charters thanks to Capt. John’s knowledge of the fishery and area as a whole.  We did not limit out but came very close and most of the fish were big fish!

If you’re looking to stock the freezer with delicious walleye, look no further! Thanks to JT we caught our limit in 2 hours. This was our first time walleye fishing and didn’t know what to expect. JT showed us what to do and not long after we were slinging fish left and right. I know we had a wonderful guide because I could hear the other boats radioing in asking what we were doing right! We were definitely one of the most successful charters that day. Honestly, it was such a blast! Really enjoyed meeting JT, he’s the real deal. Looking forward to booking a charter again to take friends and family.

I would recommend fishing with John, fun to fish with but more importantly caught fish which is what it’s all about.

Excellent trip. Jerry finished his first charter early and took us out early. We caught our limit. Jerry is a very nice guy and very helpful. He did the trip by himself and was very active on the boat. He doesn’t even need a first mate.

Had a great afternoon out with Cpt JT ! The Cpt was on a mission to limit us out, and did so in 3 hours! Nonstop action, kept us moving and catching fish! We will definitely be hitting Cpt John up in the future!
