My son (14 year old) and I went in the 5 hour afternoon/evening charter with Capt Dan and first mate Tashia. They are wonderful anglers/people who know where the big fish are!  Capt Dan took the time to teach my son about the different bates, equipment, and how to reel in the fish. We ended up with a boatload of lake trout and salmon. My son hasn’t stopped smiling and talking about this fishing trip; he’s even planning for next year’s adventure with Capt Dan and Tashia.

This fishing trip was a 40th anniversary gift from my wife. She wanted our oldest son to join me and what a great time. Captain Dan was a true pro from pre trip to cleaning our fish at the dock, and everything in between. He came up with a clear plan that he communicated to us before the trip, adjusted accordingly when the browns didn’t bite to start the morning, and sent us home with sore arms, and some great fish stories for our first time out of Henderson. Had a great time fishing with Captain Dan, caught several lake trout including a 24 pound and 39 inch laker. Would recommend this charter to anyone.
