Very windy day arrived early to the boat Captain Jaime said the crew and himself would have a little lunch, and we could start at noon. One hour earlier than expected. The Crew was 2 men Julio and Lorenzo. They were very accommodating to get both of us Senior Citizens aboard. They were so friendly, getting all 6 lines in the water quickly. They offered us beverages and off we went trolling like we were promised. Had plenty of action catching King and Spanish Mackerel, Baracuda,Bonita. At one point the Crew said Big Bait- Big fish and prepared 2 huge Baitfish and waited for Action. Not long after one pole bent over and I was totally Freaked Out over what I had on the line . It felt like i was pulling an Automobile off bottom, only to have it come off shortly after. We had another similar bite and lost that one quickly also. But the Excitement will last a Lifetime. We ended up fishing for 5 hours, an hour longer than expected. Can’t say how happy we were with the experience. By far best fishing charter I’ve ever encountered in Mexico. Also VERY RESONABLY priced compared to other charters. Nice People!

had a great time on the charter for a full day. the crew tried very hard to get us into trophy fish in the morning and then bottom fishing in the afternoon. we didn’t catch any trophies but caught so many different species of fish that we had seen snorkeling the day before in the coral reef.  the captain took us to calmer waters when we started getting sea sick which helped us stay out longer. our son has never been so happy!!

We enjoyed a morning, 4 hour trip with Big Boss and crew in early December. Having a variety of anglers and ages, the crew ensured everyone had opportunities to reel in size appropriate fish and a few big barracudas!

The size of the boat was excellent, kids could be inside or up on the bridge for better views and a cool breeze.

The spanish mackerel we caught were delicious! The captain brought us to a local restaurant as soon as we docked to have them made into fresh ceviche and blacked fish tacos, all for an amazing price! This was the best meal of the trip and recommend indulging in a fishbowl size margarita here as well!

Would highly recommend a tour with Big Boss and love to come back during the spring season to fish in the deep waters!

What a great day for fishing. The communication was great setting up the trip. They even setup transport round trip (for a fee, but appreciated their help). We had a party of 7 for a 4 hour trip, some of the young ones were battling the ol’ hang over, but they muscled through. We were lucky enough to hook 2 sailfish at once and pulled them both in. Took some pics and released them both. We caught a couple mahi early and I believe a Cobia towards the end of the trip. Both the captain and first mate did an outstanding job finding the fish and working the lines! I would highly recommend Big Boss ! They work hard and find the action! Great memories and great catches!

This was my second time fishing in the Puerto Morelos area — and by far the best trip I’ve had. My brother-in-law and I went out with Captain Jamie and Julio, and they were incredible. You can tell they truly love what they do — full of energy, locked in on the water, and always making sure we were in the right spot and taken care of. Jamie and Julio followed the birds and kept us on fish all day long.

We caught 24 fish total, including a massive sailfish and plenty of mahi-mahi (dorado). We let the smaller ones go and still brought in an impressive haul. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with cold beers, sodas, and water.

We had music blasting, everyone was singing, fishing, and soaking in the good vibes — it felt more like a celebration than just a fishing trip.

When we got back to the dock, our wives and family were waiting for us, and Captain Jamie walked us over to a local restaurant where they cooked up some of our fresh catch. We all sat down together, swapped stories from the day, and enjoyed the meal and shared with people around since we had so much food. A perfect ending to an unforgettable experience.

If you’re considering a fishing trip while in Cancun area, I highly recommend investing in yourself and booking with Jamie and Julio. It’s more than worth it. They are pros hands down.
