I do a lot of fishing in Ontario, Canada, I wanted a good charter to get a better understanding of the saltwater setups and fishing and of course to catch something bigger than a musky. Big boss was great, great captain and first mate! Had an amazing time we have a family of 7 and we got to catch 4/5ft barracuda AMAZING, my kids and myself will not forget this! Coming back in April/May to see big boss for some Sailfish! If you’re looking for a charter and unsure who to go with, probably some of the best pricing for a great fishing adventure! What a great experience we had as a family! The day started out rough because we were 30 minutes late. No matter, the captain and crew was waiting for us. We left dock and soon began trolling. We were in communication with other boats in the area and no one was catching fish. But after a couple hours of seeing flying fish and several sea turtles swimming and a little prayer things changed.  Suddenly the captain and 1st mate started yelling “fish on”! We soon learned that we hooked into something big because the line was flying off the spool for sometime. The five of us spent 40 minutes sharing the pleasure of reeling this beast in! Once to the boat Alex gaffed it and brought it aboard only to learn we hooked into a rare 40lb. King Mackerel. Captain Jaimi shared that he’d never seen a King that big before. We were all amazed at its size. What a moment.
The crew put the fish on ice and we went back to trolling. A couple hours later we hooked into a Bonito.
This crew and boat caught fish while others headed back to the dock empty.
Other comments:
The boat was well maintained and the crew was very fun and enjoyable.  Once the trip was over we went back to the dock where the crew filleted the fish for us and we took the meat to a local restaurant and they prepared a meal for us. The Bonito sashimi was fabulous!
We went with Big Boss after a terrible experience with another company, Fishing Tours La Playa. The other company canceled on us 2 days in a row with zero communication. We paid 2 days worth of transportation fees and for a family of 5 was $240.
Big Boss, on the other hand, communicated often with us several days before the trip and the day before the trip to let us know the trip was a go. Even when we had questions, concerns, or wanted to share information it made communication easy because of the Fishing Booker app!

This was a trip that started out good, became great, and ended incredible. The captain, Jaime, was so great, very patient while we found the fish and, once we did, it was a madhouse! 50 pound Amberjack, 45 pound Mahi, and multiple barracuda’s with one being over 5 feet long. IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH. He took our fish to a restaurant down from the pier and they cooked our fish into tacos and prepared ceviche. Highly recommend this team. Awesome experience.

Had a fantastic full day trip fishing. Jaime and Glendy were awesome from beginning to end. They took great care to make sure we were comfortable and ready to fish. The boat was very clean, and they kept it ready for the next fish. The trip started slow but later turned out incredible. We had multiple barracuda and a sailfish. A few stops to bottom fish also result in a trigger fish and a yellow tail. Would highly recommend this team to anyone.
