Booked this trip about 6 weeks ago. I did a little reading on forums/facebook and heard the fishing was poor recently in the bay area. Didnt experience that at all. We found Rockbass within an hoir and had our limit within 3.5 hours plus let several go that were over the slot. Great trip and great experience. We will go back soon!!  

Six of us went out for a four hour trip.  Everything was great. Really nice boat, great help with important baiting and fish removal when necessary and patient with an 8 year old. Caught lots of fish too!  It was what the family needed to have a fun day on beautiful water together during a difficult time for the family.  Thank you.

Wasn’t in the cards to catch rockfish but plan B worked and we bottom fished and had a good time catching perch, spot, croakers and a toad fish. Great captain and first mate. Learned the best time to fish is in August and September in Solomon’s island. So we need to book early with Lochjaw.

Captain Loch and 1st Mate Monica were great. They were very helpful to my 7 and 9 year old kids. This trip made for some great memories. We caught a few dozen Spot. There was a fish on every few minutes. Great for a short afternoon trip. Highly recommend!
