We planned a trip to Tennessee around this fishing trip because it was the only thing my twin 15 yr olds wanted to do for Christmas. It was a high of 27° at 7am and was absolutely freezing.. captain Joe tried to do everything in his power to get us to the fish he was communicating with other captains and taking us all over. We got one hooked and lost it at the side of the boat. One of my boys brought in a nice striped bass, my other son got to bring in a large mouth bass. We didn’t bring in the amount we were hoping for, however sometimes it’s out of our control.  Captain Joe was very accommodating and even stayed a little later trying to make my kids Christmas wish come true, which made him run late for a family Christmas. ( Im sorry to his family he was late). I would love to bring my boys back to Tennessee when the weather is warmer and try again to hit our max and all be able to bring in some striped bass.

Captain Joe knows fishing! His knowledge of the lake and the fish made a fun day fishing into a GREAT day! There were chaotic moments when every line was pulling in fish - and it was fantastic! Our 10 year olds smile went ear to ear as he reeled in the days largest striper! Joe was informative and kind, and we’d be happy to fish together again!

Captain Joe was great! He took care of everything on the boat and he was able to find the spots where the fish were located. I was disappointed that the website did not notify me that a fishing license was required. The charter boats I’ve been on in the past have included licenses for all occupants.

My son and I had an absolute blast fishing with Captain Joe. Professional set up from start to finish, caught a ton of hybrid and striper. Beautiful lake, couldn’t care less if we caught zero fish just a fantastic view.

My wife and I both caught our limit of big Fish. Captain Joe knows what he is doing! we now have beautiful fillets to take home to the family. Will be calling on him again soon.
