With the weather here in Daytona Beach heading into December, we have some huge weather swings. This can get fish fired up as they dont know whether to feed on big baits or anything! I started to see some Pompano come in with the colder water dropping under 70 degrees, and I will usually still fish the passes this time of year along with docks looking for Sheepshead. However my clients nailed it today. 2 Decent hammer heads and caught some keeper Pompano! Altho their Hot in April you can also find them randomly with weather changes

Today was windy. Currents flowing and raining most of the day. That didnt stop An Alaskan Captain himself that booked my charter to go all day! Birds were flopping in an out of the water an so was fish. We fished the tail end of an outgoing tide, slack tide and then an incoming tide. He landed all varieties. Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Goliath Grouper, sandbar shark, Redfish, ladyfish and a Jack Cravalle. All in all it was a great day with Captain John on my boat and hes welcomed anytime

As a captain we all know post hurricane its tough to fish. The water get murky, dirty and the fish scatter! But 1 thing thay Never changes is fish bite with moving tides an passes. My passengers want a redfish bite. We were catching tons of Jack crevalles bluefish an sail cats all day! However once the tide turned to outgoing i came to my go to spot an landed our redfish up on the mangroves in deep water with a live shrimp. The fight an thrill she had to reel him in is what we live for to this! Remember moving water, birds trolling and structure will almost certainly land you fish

My customers booked a 1pm charter an our bite was on! We had big fish on the reels an were consistently hooking up on fish! Caight a Nice Slot Red that barely mad the cut. We fished an incoming tide near the pass ways of ponce inlet. We caught the reds on cut Mullet an some Jacks on live shrimp! Fishing had been tough after the hurricane! But not on this day!

This couple booked an anniversary trip with me an wanted a night time snook fishing! We crushed it on a slack tide fishing the bridges with a popping cork. 6 snook then made our way to fish some docks an found some speckeled trout!
