Captain Gabe and his first mate Nick really handled business this year! We were fortunate enough to have perfect weather, enjoyed a beautiful sunrise from Lake Michigan, and caught our limits of a variety of salmon and steelhead. The fish slept in a bit, but Captain Gabe and Nick kept working until we had one on a line, and then they just kept coming. At one point, all three of us on the trip were fighting fish at the same time! Absolutely fantastic outing and we’ll definitely be back!

Our group from central Ohio had an awesome charter experience with Gabe.  It was well worth the trip and all had a great time.  Gabe was laser-focused during the whole trip to get us on fish and made adjustments to make sure we were setup for success. We arrived at the dock and were underway within minutes of stepping on board.  Captain Gabe and his first mate Nick were amazing throughout.  We caught a few king salmon early and then moved to trout later in the trip.  We were 3 novice fishermen n board and the pace at which we caught fish was steady and comfortable.  We ended up without 10 total , including an 18.3 lb. lake trout.  We will definitely be back next year and HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Elsie K. and crew!

From the time we arrived at the dock from when we were handed our bags of filets Gabe worked his tail off. I had added 1 extra person from what was originally booked (4-5), Gabe was very open to this request. Our intention on this trip was to introduce my 10 yr old grand daughter and 13 year old grandson on their first big lake fishing trip and Gabe was not only very welcoming to them ( and the adults) he was very polite and patient with them as well as providing education to them along the way. Will definitely utilize his services in the future, was a great day on the lake!!
