Captain Jorge and his first mate, Enrique didn’t dissapoint. We headed out 25 miles looking for some sail fish. They were a little hard to find this week, so we quickly transitioned to tuna and they got us in the fish quickly. We chased schools and they found them. Captain Jorge and his mate made a great day for us. We were hoping to do some trolling for billfish and then switch to hopefully catch ourselves something to eat for the rest of our trip. We got out early and within the first hour we hooked into a blue marlin! My son and I chose the seven hour trip, which gave enough time to get in about five hours of fishing once we reached the captain’s targeted location.  In that five hours we trolled and caught three sailfish and four dorados - and missed a few strikes. Our half day trip with Snooks Sportfishing was absolutely amazing!!  Our goal was to catch our first sailfish, and we did!!  Captain Jorge and his mate were very attentive to finding the fish and getting us hooked up.  He asked what our goal was and made sure we accomplished it.  As anyone should know, fish are never guaranteed, but this captain is going to give you a solid chance.  If we make it back to Costa Rica, we will book with Snook!!  We highly recommend him.

Planned a trip to Costa Rica to catch yellow fin tuna and Snook fishing chart didn’t disappoint. Great team big shoutout to the captain Jorge and his deck hand Enrique those guys were awesome and very well experienced. So please don’t be discouraged if the morning is slow be patient captain Jorge will find them. Our morning was slow but man!
