Snook Sportfishing 

Captain Jorge and First Mate Enrique were top notch! We couldn’t have asked for a better day! We caught a ton of fish and not a lot of downtime, as they were on the fish all morning. The crew looked after our kids (7 & 11) and made sure to go after some smaller ones so the little kiddos could real them in too. Snacks and cold drinks the entire trip as well. Enrique filleted all of our fish on board and handed us a bag when we departed. When we got back on the water taxi after the trip the entire boat was jealous as to how much fish we brought back. This has to be one of the best and most affordable trips in the area, highly recommend!

Jorge and Enrique were amazing. 15 minutes in we caught a yellowfin tuna. Was slow after that for a couple hours and Jorge got news of fish 6 miles away and took us for an extra hour. Unfortunately didnt catch anything there but a couple hours later we landed a 110lb sailfish. No activity after that and were slightly disappointed as only 2/4 of us landed fish. As we were heading back Jorge thought he spotted a school of mahi and out of nowhere we turned towards it and everybody landed fish. We ended with 1 yellowfin a sailfish and 5 mahi. Truly the best captain we could’ve gotten. Very accommodating good snacks (amazing sandwhiches) and hospitality. Best captain ever!

Jorge I continue to fish with you and you continue to bring better and better experiences. Jorge will make a fist timer a fisher pro and a experienced angler godlike. I have fished with him over the years and he stills goes after the biggest and baddest to take home so you don't eat chicken 😂....But yeah great at what he does. He has plenty of refreshments and foods to make sure you are good but I can keep talking forever to tell you how great he is... But book him because he is the one 🏆...

today we went on a 5 hour trip, we ended up catching probably 20 fish. mahi mahi and yellow fun tuna! also some smaller fish. they fillet’d the fish for us and we had it cooked for us as at CoCo’s as soon as we got off the boat. it was amazing. the captain and crew are nice, professional, clean, and accommodating. we had snacks, drinks, and good company. would definitely recommend!

Captain Jorge and his first mate, Enrique didn’t dissapoint. We headed out 25 miles looking for some sail fish. They were a little hard to find this week, so we quickly transitioned to tuna and they got us in the fish quickly. We chased schools and they found them. Ended the day with 4 in the boat, including one that took almost an hour to land, lost several others and had five break off. This man knows what he is doing and works hard to put you on fish. By the time we headed back, we were 45 miles out. We had a great time.

we were able to catch a yellowfin tuna about 41 miles out! It was my fiances first time deep sea fishing and im so happy he was able to catch one of his dream fish! captain was fantastic the entire time.

My three teenage sons and I fished with Snook Sportfishing for a day in early June. It was not the best weather with some rain and rolling waves. Captain Jorge and his Mate worked their tails off, found plenty of fish and we had a fantastic day aboard Snook. Multiple good sized Yellowfin Tuna and a couple of smaller Mahi. Highly recommend fishing with this crew!

This is our second time fishing with Captain Jorge, and we will definitely be booking him again next time we come down to Costa. The Captain and crew are very professional, and go out of there way to make sure everyone is comfortable and having a good time. Most importantly, these guys can fish! We landed one Sail and lost another (my fault) plus we also caught 6 Yellowfin Tuna and had fresh sashima for the ride in. It was a perfect day on the water and we look forward to next year.

Our half day trip with Snooks Sportfishing was absolutely amazing!! Our goal was to catch our first sailfish, and we did!! Captain Jorge and his mate were very attentive to finding the fish and getting us hooked up. He asked what our goal was and made sure we accomplished it. As anyone should know, fish are never guaranteed, but this captain is going to give you a solid chance. If we make it back to Costa Rica, we will book with Snook!! We highly recommend him.

Awesome experience, day was a little slow with minimal bites but ended the day with a beautiful sailfish and a smaller sized mahi. Captain and first mate were on point and seemed to have given us the best chance to catch fish. There were tuna blitzing everywhere, as we trolled through them our boat and the boats around did not seem to have any luck catching them but was an awesome experience for the books.
